Imaris fun PDF

imaris.png Some of you may have noticed that we have just moved to the next version of Imaris, named 6.3.0.

As always, the new features and changes don't come alone. This time the fun comes from the "ghostly"  datasets: your files are opened, you can view them in slice mode, but sometimes they are invisible in 3d mode...

We just got the hand on the 6.3.1 version which should fix that. Please allow us a few days to set this up.

Two modifications on the fees for setup usage will be effective starting June 1st, 2009:

The charge for the setups "Stereo Microscope" at CIF Bugnon and Dorigny will be decreased from CHF 15.00 to CHF 10.00 per hour, for consistency of pricing (academic rate).

The access of the image analysis/processing workstations at CIF will become free of charge for academic users. Nevertheless, the rule to book the workstations remains mandatory and will be enforced.

New operation manual for the Axioimager setup at the Bugnon PDF
Written by Yannick KREMPP
Monday, 27 April 2009

website-news-icon.png Finally the new short guide on how to use the Axiovision setup at the Bugnon campus has arrived. This manual is specific to the system installed at the Bugnon campus, but some of its information can also be useful for people using other systems, keeping in mind some settings nad features may vary from a system to another.

For those who are interested in more in-depth information about the software, Zeiss has published a short guide with some nice examples on how to use functions like measurements, adding annotations, exporting files and so on...

Head to the download section to get them.
