Axiovision setup has been upgraded at the Bugnon Campus PDF

axioimager2.jpgThe axiovision setup has been upgraded to a brand new "AxioImager" setup. It is still a standard epifluorescence setup, and there is no increased charges.

The main benefits is that it isbe fully automated and much more convenient to use.

Please note that past users of this setup have to ask Yannick to give them a short introduction.

Course on Imaging PDF

Starting on  January 8th 2008, an introductory course on fluorescence microscopy will be given by Jean-Yves Chatton (CIF course and "privat-docent" course).

The course will take place in the Petit Auditoire de l'Ecole de Médecine/DBCM, rue du Bugnon 9 on Tuesdays from 12:15 until 14:00.

Course title: "Introduction to fluorescence imaging for the analysis of living cells" (Total 10 hours)

Today's CIF workshop will be on 'MACROSCOPY' , i.e. imaging of large specimens like organ sections in transmitted light or fluorescence.

This workshop is free and open to all.

New 100x objective on the Leica SP5 (Bugnon) PDF

objectif_100x_small_leica.jpgAs requested by some users, the Bugnon Leica SP5 confocal microscope is now equipped with a 100x / 1.40 NA oil immersion objective for high magnification. It is up and running and you can use it right away.
