The website had some serious issues, but we were able to fix most of the vital parts needed to run it. Some parts are still missing or not working but  the booking system seems ok, so you can use it.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

New Incubator chamber available for the Zeiss LSM 710 at the Bugnon PDF

The new incubator chamber (the black insert on top of the two modules in this picture) allows temperature and CO2 controlled acquisitions.

This small chamber is compatible with small Petri dishes or slides, the ideal being dishes with glass bottom with a thickness of a coverslip to allow the use of oil immersion objectives.

The monitoring and setting of the system is pretty straightforward as it is totally controlled via the microscope touchscreen.

Applications for this addon on the 710 range from time-lapse (videomicroscopy) to calcium or other kind of ratio imaging implying time series with living cells on long periods.

Please ask Yannick KREMPP for a short introduction on how to use the system.

NB: This equipement is optional and the default insert will remain the standard one.

As a side note, the Zeiss LSM 710 users will be happy to know that we have replaced the Argon laser (producing the 488nm line for FITC/GFP in particular). The system is now again able to deliver its full power.
